BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS: Gyro Gearloose's "Hi-I.Q. nephew." Woefully under-developed, Newton seems to idolize his inventor uncle, Gyro Gearloose, yet causes him an enormous amount of trouble. He appears in at least five comic book stories as a junior version of Gyro, and, like his uncle, wears a bird's nest for hair. He also usually wears a pointed ball cap with an flimsy antenna on top, shorts held up with suspenders, shoes and a t-shirt. In his first two appearances he is curious about two of his uncle's inventions and cause Gyro grief as a result. In a later appearances, he is hero to April, May & June (in "Race to Gazer's Point" from "Huey, Dewey & Louie: Junior Woodchucks" #2, 1967) he is a member of the Junior Woodchucks and displays his extreme intelligence and creative genious to Hewey, Dewey & Louie (in "Goat-Getters" from "Mickey Mouse" #107 of June, 1966; again in "Junior Woodchucks: Tuning in Trouble" from "Mickey Mouse" #111 of Feb. 1967, and in "Honor Bright" from "Huey, Dewey and Louie: Junior Woodchucks" #1 also in 1966), but is taunted by the Beagle Brats.  Again, using his genius, he convinces the Brats to become scouts and the taunting ends. Newton also appears in "Huey, Dewey & Louie: Junior Woodchucks" #46 in "The New Member" (though for some odd reason he is called "Giggy Gearloose") and in "Huey, Dewey & Louie: Junior Woodchucks" #50 in "Newton's Day."
