He also often takes various members of the Duck Family on adventures. First introduced in comics when he rescuedDonald Duck whose inflatable water-mattress had drifted out to sea. Donald briefly served as his First Mate, but was soon replaced by Dim-Witty Duck. Never far away is Moby's loyal pet porpoise, Porpy (whose intelligence is obviously far greater than Dim-Witty's). Moby has a remarkable knowledge of the sea which serves him well. He is also scrupulously honest and responsible. It is unclear whether he and Dim-Witty are members of the Duck Family.
