"Gloria Pascoalina from Brazil" (Glória or Glorinha in the original Portuguese) is a Disney cartoon character created in 1972 by Brazilian authors. Gloria appears for the first time in the story, "Paz, Amor e Glória", published for the first time in Brazil on "Zé Carioca N.1099" and never republished abroad (Gloria will appear only in Italy in the eighties).

Fethry (Paperoga)'s girlfriend, Gloria has long, straight blond hair and wearing a flashy pair of glasses with round lenses. Often wearing a red bandana tied around her hair.

Gloria's parents run a restaurant, and her mother, in the Portuguese language, is called Mama Pascoalina. Gloria should not be confused with the similarly named, but with very different features, Glory-Bee (called "Gloria" in Italy) who is a girlfriend to Goofy.

Purple Butterfly

Purple Butterfly or Paperfly (Borboleta Púrpura) is the alter ego of Gloria appearing for the first time in the story "Was born Uma Heroína ... Borboleta Púrpura", published for the first time in Brazil on "Peninha Ranked # 15" in 1983 (and published in Italy for the first time on Mickey Mouse N.1594 in 1986 with the title "Paper bat and Purple Butterfly").

She is usually represented as a superhero rival Paper Bat ( "The Red Bat" alter ego Fethry/Paperoga), which is superior on numerous occasions. Like the other superheroes of Duckburg, Paperfly has no superpowers and uses tricks and gimmicks similar to those of Paper Bat, as well as advanced technology (for example, an electronic locator device shaped like a butterfly, and has a Bat Bat Paper sniffer manual-shaped nose of dog ... which often has a cold). Along with Bat Paper, Paperfly is a member of the Club of Superheroes.
