BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS: Haggard, plump and shamelessly goofy witch who first appeared in "The Sword and the Stone" and challenged Merlin the Magician to a contest in spell-casting called a "Wizard's Duel." She later reappeared in comics as the best friend of Magica de Spell, working solo or teaming with Magica, the Beagle Boys or others to trouble various characters in the Disney universe, including Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, $crooge McDuck, Scamp, Moby Duck, and others. Mim has a stong familial affection for the Beagle Boys, and almost a motherly dotage for the Beagle Brats. Unlike Magica, however, Mim's deeds are not always sinister.
